General Information
This website provides information about Ascend Business Consult and its services. Website content is not a substitute for legal, tax, accounting, financial or regulatory advice.
Service Acceptance
Service requests and membership applications are subject to review and acceptance by Ascend Business Consult. Ascend reserves the right to decline or discontinue a service request or client engagement where permitted by law. Submission of a form, requested appointment time or payment authorization does not by itself guarantee acceptance of service.
Scheduling
Standard appointments should generally be requested at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day service may be offered when available but is not guaranteed. Customer-selected dates and times are requests until Ascend confirms the appointment in writing.
Ascend may reschedule a confirmed appointment when necessary and will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 48 hours' notice. Emergencies, illness, safety concerns, access problems, technical incidents or circumstances outside Ascend's reasonable control may require shorter notice.
Customer Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers should provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or change a confirmed appointment. A customer making a change with less than 24 hours' notice may receive one courtesy reschedule without an additional rescheduling charge. After that courtesy is used, another late cancellation or reschedule may require a new deposit or result in forfeiture of an applicable deposit when stated in the approved service terms.
A no-show is treated separately from a customer who contacts Ascend to request a late change and does not automatically qualify for the courtesy reschedule.
Payment Authorizations for One-Time Service
Some diagnostic and call-out services may use a temporary card authorization before Ascend accepts the job. A card authorization is not the same as a completed charge. Where this process is used, Ascend captures the authorized amount after accepting the service request and confirming the appointment. If the request is declined, the uncaptured authorization is released. Release timing may depend on the card issuer.
Unless otherwise stated, a diagnostic or call-out deposit covers dispatch, diagnosis and initial labor. Additional time, parts, equipment or expanded work will be quoted for approval before work continues.
Memberships
Ascend Advantage applications are reviewed before recurring enrollment. If accepted, the customer receives a secure enrollment link. Membership benefits, service scope, exclusions, billing and cancellation rules are governed by the applicable membership description and any written agreement provided at enrollment.
Managed IT and Discovery Assessments
Managed IT retainers are not automatically activated from a public plan selection. Ascend reviews the business environment and may recommend a remote or on-site discovery assessment before offering a retainer.
A paid Managed IT discovery assessment may be credited once against the first month of an approved Managed IT retainer if the customer signs that retainer. The assessment credit does not apply to one-time jobs or Ascend Advantage memberships and is not redeemable as a general cash credit.
Project Scope and Additional Costs
Hardware, software licenses, third-party subscriptions, parts, travel outside standard coverage, major replacement equipment and work beyond the approved scope are separate unless specifically included in writing.
No Guaranteed Results
Business, technology and marketing outcomes depend on many factors. No result is guaranteed unless explicitly stated in a signed agreement.
Specific Agreements
When a proposal, statement of work, membership agreement, invoice or other signed document conflicts with these general terms, the more specific written agreement controls for that service.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, website text, design and branding are owned by Ascend Business Consult and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission.
Changes
These terms may be updated as Ascend's services and operating procedures evolve.
